cirrus, do you mean Kerry didn't insult the Brits?
When Bush asked Kerry "what about Tony Blair?", my thought was that one Blair is worth 10 Chiracs...who needs common thieves like France & Germany? When a man of sterling character like PM Blair was willing to risk his political career in order to oust Saddam Hussein, it's proof positive that it was the correct move.
