Kerry's intellect towered over Bush. I could really see that I would be comfortable with Kerry managing my country. But......I don't like the UN and I don't like the new internationalism. Kerry wants us to be part of the world criminal court. I oppose that for reasons of soveriegnty. An American citizen cannot be plucked out of this country and tried under foreign laws. Every American has constitutional rights here in the US and protections that should not be short circuited by an international legal system. We are not talking about war crimes. We are talking about economic and environmental issues that Americans could be charged with in an international court. And US authorities would be charged with turning over an Amercian to them? No way. This can never happen IMO and Kerry should oppose it. Bush opposes it.
