That's funny, because when I Google it the latest english news only says 'entered into exclusive negotiations' and 'secured funding'. One poster on Stockhouse.ca a little while ago even quipped 'Why didn't they tell us first?' upon seeing the Chinese media reports. It appears the Western media is not reporting the deal as done. Doesn't this have to be put to a vote of shareholders? Doesn't Brascan only own 48%? I'm just a little confused...
