My state, Washington, is a battleground state as far as I'm concerned. The Seattle area is loaded with liberals, but the part of the state I live in is as conservative as it can get.
Our esteemed senator, Patty Murray, told about all the virtues of Osama bin Laden: Murray said, according to the Vancouver paper, that bin Laden has been "out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day care facilities, building health care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that."
