Wishful thinking, as usual, from Ann, the dreamer!
A while back you have been predicting dire things for Kerry. It turned out to be nothing but cheap and desperate smear, smear and smear.
You predicted that Kerry would be roundly defeated in the debate. On the contrary, as so many folks saw it, it was Bush that got a drubbing, his nose was "bloodied". Someone said that Bush looked like a chimpanzee having been whammied on its head by a falling coconut, and that Kerry looked so presidential!
It is still too early to tell for sure that Kerry got nothing much from his boffo performance. So, don't jump to conclusions and confusion! There are still two more debates to go and, because Bush failed badly in the first debate involving topics where he was supposed to be an expert, I believe he will fare poorly in the next two debates concerning issues where Bush have failed badly as president of the USA.
IMHO, Dubya was given so many free passes and free rides too many times in his younger days that he now needs advisors like Dick Cheney (no doubt handpicked for him by his daddy) and the Neo-cons to help him along. Yet Dubya had the gall to ridicule Kerry for wanting to consult others.
Because so many things were done for him in the past or handed to him on a silver platter, Bush was quite helpless during the debate when he was forced to think on his feet.
By the way, Bush reminded me of the "Cookie-Monster" in a Sesame Street program. In that program, a little girl gave the "Cookie-Monster" three cookies and asked it to eat them one by one and to keep count of the cookie(s) remaining as it devoured each cookie. The "Cookie-Monster" performed and completed his task easily very much to the delight of the little girl. However, when she next gave the it three muffins and asked it to tell her how many muffins there were, the "Cookie-Monster" began to cry, saying rather peevishly, "But I haven't been taught to count muffins!.... I don't know how.........."
