Style Vs Substance. This is the substance of how kerry sounded nice, but set so so many traps in contradictory substance. If Americans vote on substance, this is the kerry contradictions just from the debate. The latest email from Ed Gillespie.

President Bush may not have pointed out this in the debate, but the fact remains that below is a credible analysis of what kerry really said.

....
John Kerry failed to address the credibility gap he has with the American people when it comes to the War on Terror.

For example:

* Sen. Kerry said the President "made a mistake" in invading Iraq but denied that our troops in Iraq are dying for a mistake. Kerry can't have it both ways. He can't say it's a mistake and not a mistake. You can't be for getting rid of Saddam Hussein when things look good and against it when times are hard. The President must speak clearly and the President must mean what he says.
* Sen. Kerry claimed: "I believe that our troops deserve better." John Kerry is the only candidate in the race who voted against our troops in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, but incredibly tonight he told the troops, "help is on the way." Someone who explains his vote against our troops as a "protest" does not have the credibility to serve as our nation's commander in chief.
* Sen. Kerry said the cornerstone of his plan for Iraq is to convene a summit, and work with our allies. However, he said those who are standing with us are not part of a "genuine coalition" and previously called them the coalition of the "coerced and the bribed." The way to lead the coalition is not to be disdainful or dismissive of our allies. The way to lead the coalition to victory is to be clear in our thinking, grateful for their sacrifices and resolute in our determination to defeat the enemy.
* We witnessed a glimpse of the Kerry Doctrine last night when Senator Kerry said America has to pass a "global test" before we can use American troops to defend ourselves. The President will continue to work with our allies and the international community, but will never submit America's national security to an international test. The President's job is not to take an international poll. The president's job is to defend America.

In his own words, Sen. Kerry shows he lacks the judgment and vision to serve as Commander-in-Chief.

The President spoke directly and passionately last night about the decisions he's made regarding the War on Terror and the progress we're made. He is a President who wears his emotions on his sleeve and at times was bemused by the fact that John Kerry is a walking contradiction when it comes to Iraq and the War on Terror.

What you see is what you get with President Bush.

And what President Bush gives you is clarity and strength to fight and win the War on Terror versus John Kerry's attacks and reversals--born out of political calculation.

John Kerry failed to close the credibility gap he has with the American people.
