Folks,
We are all excited about our prospects for profit AND change to the system, but let's not become overzealous to the exclusion of potential new investors here!
While I realize that this thread has its share of doom and gloom jockeys, many claiming to be defending our (individual investors) best interests, I'm a bit concerned that we're driving away legitimate concerns as well.
When someone comes to this thread and asks questions about the company, they are not being given a fair chance. I would argue that it is unreasonable for us to assume that any new threadsters would or should "read through the thread" to get the flavor of what's going on. Let's face it, following this thread at 200+ posts per day is a monumental task for those of us who are invested, but to the newcomer, it may simply appear as impossible. Let's face it folks, the "truly" informative posts about the company fundamentals and direction are buried out here and searching that out is like the proverbial needle in the haystack.
All I'm trying to say is let's temper our zeal with a bit of understanding for the newcomers to the thread. Perhaps a well-composed summary of facts about the company as well as a brief rundown of the cartel's history and goals could be created and periodically posted for those new to the thread. A FAQ of sorts that addresses repetitive issues like "do I need to call for certs on my cash account? and why?"
And as far as the naysayers go, let's not assume that anybody asking questions (even stupid questions) is here to trash and undermine (even if they have a rep as a trasher from another thread). Let's put our best foot forward to accomodate them and maybe win over some new investors. If, in fact, they came to trash, they will reveal themselves in due time and can then be ignored by all.
Please feel free to shoot holes in what I'm saying here, but before doing so, look back over the dialogues with newcomers in the past few days and you may find that we really are doing more damage than good with our newfound arrogance.
