Yes, the switchover to 90nm probably ate 20% of fab capacity in Q2, with no output untill the end of Q3. 10% or more in earlier quarters. Elmer's model allowed for only 10% unutilized fab capacity, which is just enough to handle stepping changes and product mix changes, but not near enough to allow for experimentation and testing on a new process node. Intel does nearly all their process development in separate fabs designed for that purpose. (D1C?)
