Bush has failed in Iraq, lied about it and made us less safe and wealthy. Who the F cares about 1980 or 1965 or 1972> Does that have anything to do with 2004 except historical perspective? Maybe Kerry did oppose some of Reagan's initiatives. Why not? What about Iran-Contra? Thinjk he was wrong to oppose that? Reagan was by no means perfect. He and his people had a major dark side. and without Gorby he would never have eneded the Cold War. Gorby was the one who did it, Not Reagan. Also, Reagan had the guts to apologize for his mistakes on Iran-Contra and the Lebenon barracks bombings. When is Bush going to start apologizing for his failures leting 9-11 happen and getting us quagmired in an awful new war?
