I think Kerry has just been fighting shy of saying what he means on Iraq, which is: It is another Vietnam. Bail now.

In recent days, he has been edging closer and closer to saying it outright. I don't think it's an accident that his voice has grown clearer as he comes closer to saying this position - which he still won't say out loud.

I think Kerry sees Iraq as Vietnam because Kerry sees everything as Vietnam.

The supreme irony is that Kerry is now running on the Nixon '68 platform: "I have a secret plan."
