Larry, Joe Kernan has mentioned the Panretin trial HALT at least twice so far on CNBC. He explained why it would be unethical to withold the drug from the placebo group. HALT of a Phase III trial for ethical reasons is the dream outcome for a Biotech, especially a tier II biotech like LGND. This good news should help the entire sector. Last halt that I recall was Dec, 1996 when CNTO halted Reopro trial. Big Biotech rally followed. Joe Kernan just mentioned AGN and LGND again and said "they would be following it all day!"
