Bird Flu in Florida? The confirmation of avian flu in a dog in Thailand was just announced recombinomics.com This result has an interesting US connection, because earlier this year there was a bird flu outbreak in racing greyhpounds in Florida (which temporarily closed many of their race tracks). The avian flu in dogs was a first in Florida. Now it has also been confirmed in Thailand, where probable human to human transmsion of avian flu was announced last week recombinomics.com Flu season is coming along with the November elections.
