I think Kerry has just been fighting shy of saying what he means on Iraq, which is: It is another Vietnam. Bail now.

He agrees with Colin Powell. It is the Pottery Barn rule. You break it and you own it. Iraq is broken. We can not bail out. We have to fix it before we leave.

Kerry is intent on fighting WOT. Stopping nuclear proliferation is Job number 1. That includes stopping Iran, North Korea, and any other organization, rogue terrorist state, or country currently not a nuclear weapons club member from getting their hands on nuclear wapons. OBL and AQ are objective number 1A. They attacked us and Kerry is going after them.

Fixing our economy and health care system are all more important than spending enormous amounts of money on Iraq. The war on Iraq was a mistake. But, we made that mistake and now we can't cut and run. We have to fix it. The people of the United States will now have to vote whether that is the vision for America or not.

We have to be able to state the two positions as clearly as possible and let the voters decide. By misrepresenting either side is wrong.
