WIN BACK RESPECT

____________________________

winbackrespect.org

In the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks there was an unprecedented outpouring of goodwill towards the United States. Now, less than three years later, confidence in American leadership around the world is at historic lows. The Bush administration's approach to foreign policy has alienated America's traditional friends and allies and damaged its relationships around the world.

These relationships are vital for our national security. America cannot fight terrorism or solve other problems distrusted and alone. To make America safer, we must win back the world's respect.

Win Back Respect is an alliance of Americans and America's friends abroad who are committed to restoring America's standing in the world. The campaign will highlight to voters in key battleground states the very real costs——in lives lost and dollars spent——of the Bush administration pushing away America's friends and allies.

The Win Back Respect campaign is run by Safer Together 04, an independent political organization dedicated to building a stronger, more cooperative American foreign policy. Safer Together 04 is backed by an Advisory Board with considerable experience in foreign policy, national security, and political campaigns.
