It's not democracy if it's not DEMOCRACY. Lots of countries, including the nearly 100% vote that Saddam regularly received from Iraqis, have sham elections.

Get out of the clouds. It's not a democratic election if it's not...A DEMOCRATIC ELECTION. Multiple registrations, intimidation, bribes, threats (remember, Afghanistan has a nearly 80% illiteracy rate in rural areas AND about 50% countrywide so how do they know what the issues and candidates are about?) DO NOT MAKE A DEMOCRATIC ELECTION.

So, why did we invade Iraq if it WAS A DEMOCRACY which simply elected Saddam?

The Taliban suck. The Taliban of the USA, the evangelical fundmentalist sham Christian whackos, also suck. They can fight each other for all I care and leave the rational world alone.
