If Kerry hoped Bush's head would fall off in the first debate, he now knows......after assailing Bush's credibility....that won't happen.

Bush now knows what it is like to debate John Kerry, and for the most part, knows what to expect. I think Bush will be much more comfortable in a town hall type setting......he's at home with the folks. I suspect John Kerry's definition of "folks" differs greatly from Bush's, and that will make him a bit more uncomfortable.

Bush will have the edge in the next debate in that regard. Kerry will have to prove he isn't a closet socialist.
