LOL! I think this country has learned that electing a draft dodger like Clinton -- who would have voted with the majority for the 1991 Gulf Resolution but would have agreed with the minority voting against it -- or a wishy washy traitor like John Kerry -- who voted for the war and is now against it -- would be disastrous for this country. Clinton actually never got more than 50% of the popular vote -- 43% in 1992 and 49% in 1996 -- but Perot's self-indulgent run at the White House in 1992 and 1996 altered the dynamics of the races sufficiently for Clinton to win the electoral college votes -- 69% in 1992 and 70% in 1996.
