If you want to blather right wingingly there are plenty of threads on which to blather to your heart's content, doing it here, on a thread designated for liberals and moderates seems a bit...hostile and aggressive- nothing new with hostility and aggressiveness on SI of course, but don't act so shocked when people notice it. It's quite obvious. Healthy discussions are often held between like thinking individuals- there is no real discussion between far left and far right- there are exchanges of slogans, there are statements like "Anyone can see..." or "If you were informed you would think..." etc . Most of SI consists of this type of boring and bipolar garbage. Heck you just posted some to me, and I posted some to you. I found it completely "unhealthy", as well as soporific, and do not believe I could benefit at all from "conversations" with you, or with your likeminded bretheren. The only way to have healthy conversations is to have a mutual underlying base of beliefs- anything else leads, inevitably, to anger and namecalling, if the parties cannot disengage.
