The political jihad against Rather has been grossly unfair imho.This guy was a stalwart of journalism reporting for a great part of my life and I have developed respect for him that supercedes one mistake, if it were in fact his fault. He is being persecuted unfairly. Soon there will be a book about Dan Rather as a group of Rather hating journalists.. probably jealous of him... will put out a Ratherwater...or Rathergate. Just kidding. However, he is a decent man who got caught up in a blunder by CBS and others ineffectual colleagues.
