Because it's Talking Point #1. Every Republican operative that touches the press repeats the same mantra, almost verbatum. Rove is exceptional at getting everyone on the same point, and endlessly repeating it (even DR is playing the game).


Well, you may well be right but apparently it backfired. After the debate, people complained about Bush's repetitive nature.

Right now there are only 2 talking points they want to get across, #1 waffler and #2 Global Veto.No matter what the question, they slip #1 or #2 into the answer. If only the Democrats has such discipline.

Its called the Stepford politician. I would prefer that the Dems did not go too far in that direction. <g>
