10/04/04 Urban Technology Ventures LLC Launches FreeProjectManager.com, a New Low-Cost ASP Alternative For Companies To Collaborate Online
LOS ANGELES, CA, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Urban Technology Ventures LLC ("UTV" or the "Company") urbantechnologyventures.com of Los Angeles California, which recently signed a Letter of Intent to be acquired by KIWI Network Solutions Inc. ("KIWI") (OTCBB: KWNS - News), a developer and integrator of web-based, wireless network applications and wireless device technology, announced today that UTV has launched freeprojectmanager.com, an ASP offering of the UTV's web based Project Management Suite. The server/thin client based application is designed to work seamlessly in the desktop environment, and on pocket PC wireless and communicator devices using a standard web browser.
UTV offers a free version for single users and sells software licensees a monthly service starting at $59 to $299 a month for 2 to 100 user licenses. The application is also being offered as a private or client branded solution for larger service providers looking to add a valuable applications layer service to their current ISP offerings and as a "value" add for business class services. Mobile Virtual Network Operators, WIFI, WIMAX and emerging network operators can license the server application and deploy the suite to client devices as a value added feature. The Company has been approached by numerous enterprise licensing interests and is anticipating a large number of unit subscriptions of the PMS product.
