Italy was the #2 ally. The #1 UK also wants out. Spain is gone. Poland the #4 is going. We will soon be all alone with a big US target on our backs. IUf Bush is re-elected, this will play right into extremist Arabs hands. Osama himself predicted this and Bush (only Bush could do it) made Osama's prophesies come true. Oh man. I pity our poor soldiers until Kerry gets in. Bush will get thousands more killed if he squeaks out a win. Or he will be forced to cut and run. Which is worse? PS: Italy, Poland, the UK and the rest are hoping for Kerry and will come back if he's elected. But what we really need are Arab-speaking troops. Tons of them. Kerry can do that by doing what Bush hasn't done, try to make peace in Israel. This time Arafat will have no choice but to say yes. I recommend CLinton take the job. He almost succeeded before. George Mitchell and General Zinni could also help.
