A senior government official who is not a political appointee provided CNSNews.com with copies of the 42 pages of Iraqi Intelligence Service documents.

The government official who gave the documents to CNS says he thinks it unlikely that the Bush administration is even aware of their existence, given the large volume of intelligence-related documents waiting to be translated.

Interesting link and story, except for one glaring abnormality: How does this "senior govt official" know what the documents say if they haven't been translated?

If he is "senior", even if he is a non-political type who reads arabic, he must be high enough to report the existence to those who have been searching for just these documents for 18 months, but he goes to CNS first? And the administration doesn't know they exist? Bad, bad, bad... they're telling us they're on top of things. Something not right here.

Looks like a good article on the surface, but so did the article CBS put out that was later discredited.
