Nice audible you called there. But it still doesn't get us past the basic question of what you do *IF* Chirac doesn't give his approval. You've had to load up your troops and cart them to the Gulf under UN auspices, now you have Chirac refusing to cooperate.

My complaint with you on the Left is that you all seem to have very short memories. If a war can't be fought and won in days, they're NEVER going to be acceptable to the Left, and unfortunately, sometimes wars are necessary and sometimes they take years. Even decades.
