I hope that people who read the message I am replying to will read the whole article-------rather than the scare tactics of the title.

Families are very important---- without regard to religious affiliation. If we were to screen people for their religious
affiliations before hiring them at the Federal Govmt level we would hire no one. And, this would be discrimination of the worse kind based on religious affiliation.

This society needs all of the help it can get. We are now faced with gangs, a new growing phenoma in the recent 7 years in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. on both the MD. and Va. sides. And a fertile ground for recruitment for other purposes.

The moonies were very suspect in the 1960's and the 1970's-----a new phenoma at the airports and on the streets. Because they were different-----for that time----they were looked at with suspicion.

I believe we have come a long way at accepting the moonies as a part of our society------as it should be.

When I hear the media criticize religions and the people who hold public office for their religions affiliations-----I am reminded of one of the reasons our European ancestors came to America --to escape persecution because of religion. To go after these people in the government because of their religious affiliaton is also persecution imo.
