Plus, Pennsaid works just as well as the maximum daily dose of comparable oral medication at relieving knee osteoarthritis symptoms. With US$2.5 billion worth of annual Vioxx sales up in the air, Dimethaid is bound to see some of it. At least in theory. The problem has always been that Dimethaid has been next to totally inept at selling their wonderful product. In other words, it is an inept sales force that is the problem and not the product. Will the company fix this problem? Maybe. We don’t see why Merck (MRK) doesn’t just buy this thing. “Sorry ‘bout the Vioxx but check this out...” That would be nice (a buyout from Merck) Regards Vaughn P.S. Looks as if the shorts are doing their best again. It would be lovely to see them get burned just once...
