Definitely set aside a day (or two) for the British Museum. IMHO, it is the best museum in the world (at least in parts of history I am interested in), better than the Louvre.
Go to the Sanderson Hotel for a drink one night, at their rectangular bar, passing through Starck's modernist decoration.

There is a little Morroccan cafe place that is very popular, with various flavoured teas, and cushions on the ground. It is right next to the famous Momo (in itself a good restaurant as well) and owned by the same people. In the link below to Momo, you can see this cafe - it is the left hand corner, with red carpet outside.
