I also don't follow CHIR, but this has to be an over-reaction. The momentum players and the short-term traders can't grasp the concept of a purely one-year problem. (Partly because such a beast is actually fairly rare - usually "temporary" problems reflect something deeper and are justly viewed with suspicion).

Note I'd be happier playing this than the MRK Vioxx problem because the in the latter case you have the unquantified liability issue.
