Aren't there any campaingn rules that precludes the political advantage this close to the elections ? Or does it just depend on wheather the networks are willing to broadcast the speaches ?

I thought there were not allowed to show even Arlolds movies before the CA election. It's different scenerio, but there is a lot of room for abuse if one candidate has (significantly) more access to the media than the other, this close to the election.
