I'll tell you something that bothers me a lot. Back during Bush's recent speech to the UN, Kerry took the opportunity to criticize Bush and Kerry's guy, Lockhart, said some deeply insulting things about the visiting Iraqi transition leader.

Now given 1) that Kerry says we need more int'l help in Iraq and 2) that the multinational effort in Iraq now has the UN's blessing (UNSC Res 1546, which urges all member nations to assist in Iraq's transition to democracy by helping with security and establishment of institutions etc.) and 3) that Allawi is the int'l and UN recognized leader of Iraq - supposedly where "legitimacy" comes from:

Why didn't Kerry take the opp'ty to make the request for help from Iraq a bipartisan request? Instead he insulted the 30 nations allies we have got now. What's the matter with him?

This is just putting his election effort in front of what is right for the country.
