Exactly. For those of us aware of the details, Cheney's lies really hurt him. But for most people he probably came across as fairly knowledgeable.

The online polls mean nothing. I think this debate will be forgotten by Friday, unless somehow one of Cheney's lies really resonates in the media.

Here are FOUR Cheney lies:

1) Obviously Cheney has met Edwards before.

2) Obviously Edwards numbers were correct on the US bearing the costs of the war in Iraq.

3) When Cheney said: "We've done a lot to reduce the cost of healthcare ..." Maybe he wasn't lying, he was just delusional.

4) And Edwards was correct about the number of jobs lost under the Bush administration.

The only one that might resonate is #1 since pictures are already being found of them together.
