Imagination and the ability to see beneath the veneer of things to ferret out the truths about things in general are starkly lacking in a good number of GOP supporters.

Many GOP-ers are able to see only things in either black or white: they seem incapable of distinguishing the infinite shades of gray from one another in the white-to-black continuum. No wonder the Repubniks are so fond of accusing others who don't agree with them of being "flip-flops". To me, a flip-flop may be described as a person who also sees the other side of the coin, so to speak, or even more than that.

Dumbya's "....you are with us or against us, there's no middle way....." is a excellent case in point! And it got America into deep doo-doo, say, the Iraq quagmire.

It would appear that most Repubniks would make very poor chess players as they don't seem capable of seeing Plan B, Plan C, Plan D etc & etc. No wonder the Bushies now find themselves in trouble at home and abroad.
