Kerry's decision to testify as he did in 1971 was for the
purpose of launching his political career and there was not
a person present during that testimony who did not know that.

In fact, if you read the Q & A session you'll see that
Kerry's political aspirations were even acknowledged.

I don't believe that he cared whether his allegations were
accurate or not. He went for the sensational without
regard to the effect on his "band of brothers" left behind.

IOW, it was all about Kerry then and all about Kerry now.

A person testifying based on such questionable source
material is vouching for that material. That's what Kerry
did.
