I got lucky once. I sold naked puts on eln that exercised with the stock at $8 or $9 this past January and with a strike of $10. What went from a maximum gain of $2 per share became $10-15. Better to be lucky, I guess. It was kind of fun watching my buying power steadily increase as the stock moved from $1 back up to $8 area and then on to $20+. I did not get as lucky though on AMD.
