Thread, I have been out of this thread for more than 16 hours and need to go through 80+ articles. It seems Henry from LGND also started posting about an "IMPORTANT" trial result today. Somebody mentioned that LGND is a longterm play. I agree completly with that assumption. But it is also a short term play (till Feb. 98) for two reasons: 1) Some more trial results will be out by then. 2) they have a road shown in Sep. (6 presentations in conferences etc.). They won't do it unless tehy have something good to reveal. 3) These trial results will provide momentum for new deals. Since last year teh management has been promissing some solid deals and it did not occur till to date. One of the reasons may be due to pending trial result. 4) In January there is H&Q cinference where important announcements presentations are given to teh investment community. Usually these biotechs peak around that time (I may be wrong on this point on some of the companies as they are news, trials and contract driven). So I think it is a good play on both scales. I just loaded some more Feb. 15 calls to my bag. (Guestimate for Feb. 98 target is $20 - $30/share). All the best. -Karun
