Quick notes on the NR:

1 - More useful information in one package than we've ever seen from Markham. A very good quick overview, given the time limitations. Kudos to new management.

2 - Some disturbing news with implications for management's past conduct. I'm sure it will get ample discussion. At a quick read, it looks like the tenor of management's conduct with Provalis was repeated with Solvay.

3 - About what we expected with FDA. August 2002 - the "non-approval approval". Need for more trials, and no money?

Contrary to the posts we've been reading here, the requirement for more trials is likely to have a cause we've ALL missed. Despite the megalomanic posturing, it's not what our fave potato thinks. FDA approval of the P2 for Penecure virtually guarantees that.

Were shareholders properly informed about FDA status? I think not.

4 - It looks like there has been no financing of any kind going on, unless Dr. Kuhne's shares were being sold to support the company in the interim cash crunch. The recent market activity is a real head-scratcher. PIPE investors selling options? Offshore shares running for cover?

Evidently Dr. Kuhne has kept the lights on until the company can get squared away. Thanks, Dr. Kuhne.

This is the individual who was maligned by RK's minions as "The Bad Guy". It looks like the reality is the exact opposite of what we were being told.

Good news/bad news, but more good than bad, IMO.
