Only if you believe that the rest of the world loves its losers. Kerry has actually been on the wrong side of history for most of his public life.

1) He didn't want to fight the mystical war against communism in the 70s even going so far as to totally parrot the North Vietnamese negotiating position of requiring the US to unilaterally withdraw before the release of our POWs.

2) He fought Reagan's attempt to win the Cold War in the 80s even going so far as to support the global nuclear freeze movement secretly sponsored by the Communists. And of course there was the famous incident in Nicaragua when he came home from his fact-finding mission waving peace in our time a day before Daniel Ortega went to Moscow to collect $200M in reward money for getting a sitting US senator to validate his regime.

3) He voted against the first Gulf War resolution despite the fact that another UN country was invaded by Iraq.

4) After the first WTC bombing he supported a legalistic approach to terrorism and actually called for massive cuts in the intel budgets.

5) He supported the 1994 Framework Agreement sponsored by Clinton and Carter and refused to even acknowledged until it was too late that the North Koreans started cheating on that agreement as soon as they could.

6) He voted for the second Gulf War resolution before he voted against the money for the troops. And of course, he is the candidate who knows how to win the wrong war at the wrong tie at the wrong place because he can convince more allies to join the coalition of the coerced and the bribed and win this most serious of diversions from the global war of terroism.

Is it any wonder that John Kerry is running away from that 20+ year record as a public official? LOL!
