Actually, Michael, it is BECAUSE I can see shades of gray and the hypocrisy of the RIght Wing that I am so strongly against Bush (who sees the world as Black and White...good guys vs evil doers).

It might surprise you that I never voted for Clinton or Gore (however, I never voted Republican in those elections, as I think that their philosophy is self-serving and often immoral). I did vote for a Republican once in my life (a guy running for Senate against Feinstein...he wasn't typical...even the Republican Party refused to endorse him!)

I do think that the Seven Minutes were important. It showed a "leader" who was in over his head. His flight to Nebraska reinforced that fact. A strong leader would have wanted information immediately, and would have returned to Washington immediately to oversee the response (not left it to his VP). I can't imagine any President in recent history reacting in that way (though maybe they wouldn't have woken Reagan up!) The National Guard thing is similar...here's a President who is ready to tell the opposition to "Bring It ON!" as long as he's not the one that they're bringing it to. When it's his turn to serve his country and fight, he runs.

I do think that you are "all over the place". You seem to confuse your indecision with "seeing gray". Recognizing complexities and being decisive are not mutually exclusive. If you can't see why Bush is being blasted, then you haven't been paying attention.
