the policy is to protect the workers and customers from what i understand. company doesn't care about robbery , amount is very small but the lives are much more important. They are instructed to never try to stop a robbery, cooperate. The person was fired because he broke policy and they need to be fair and consistent in adm of policies if the company hopes to save lives over all. i also expect it is stop any law suits against the company should someone get hurt.
