Use sexual terminology that is relevant to lesbians and gay men as well as bisexual and heterosexual people. For example, use “sexual activity,” rather than “sexual intercourse.” "Why is it amusing to make the effort to avoid hurting people??" Because anyone who is offended by the term "sexual intercourse" is being too sensitive in the first place. "Do you find something amusing about insulting and degrading people because of their sexual orientation?" Do you know any gay people? They are the ones who know the best gay jokes. Everyone should be able to laugh at themselves, regardless of "sexual orientation."
