FWIW, US troops never set foot on Serbian territory and did not force Milosevic out of office. The Serbs took care of that on their own eventually, once Milosevic had been contained as a threat, his direct aggression in neighboring states stopped and his legitimacy discredited among the majority of Serbs.

Gee, a successful formula that minimized casualties and US costs in money and lives.

Duh.
