Your very first sentence starts with Cheney wrongly, How about Edwards lies about President attempting to reduce Soldiers Pay and Cheney slighty overstates FactCheck exoneations. Cheney & Edwards Mangle Facts Cheney wrongly implied that FactCheck had defended his tenure as CEO of Halliburton Co. That construction of your sentence implies Cheney was deliberately attempting to mislead. And considering the dishonesty, breath and depth of Edwards a 10 and Cheney a .5 maybe your overall presentation reeks of every attempt to minimize Edwards direct dishonesty. You also agree SWORN ENEMY LIBYA stuff was not under Cheney's watch. Well I would like to know how you say Iran was also a SWORN ENEMY of America at the time Haliburton did business in compliance with US sanctions. SWORN ENEMY, It's news to me. So to me we have maybe a subsidiary may have done something that was wrong in a contract in Nigeria. How many levels could that be removed from the knowledge of the CEO of a company with 100.000 employees. On the other side, well at least you mention it. Edwards a member or 100 Senators lied falsely claiming the President was trying to reduce the pay of soldiers who are putting their lives on the line. Putting out that kind of FUD going directly to the question of the support of the Commander and Chief for the troops who are giving so much is a disgrace. That a 10 lie all by itself. It's not implied it's false. I would suggest you all do far more critical thinking and fully parse entire statements in a balanced way. I would also suggest you come with a degree of lie criterion. I would suggest you always attempt to add. If one makes this assumption, the fact is true. Then you could opine In your opinion the assumption is reasonable to retarded. Pick you own PC wording. Edwards lie on lobbying was 100% false. 100% false is dishonest. -- Tom Watson
