If, as has been suggested, the greatest moment of vulnerability is the State of the Union Address, we are fortunate that the attacks we suffered did not take place at that moment, when there would be no warning. If next time it is a suitcase bomb, it will not have come from Iraq, a country with no WMDs or WMD programs. It will come from the former Soviet Union. But look at the time and space and effort on this thread and in this country on the loose nuke threat. Look at the effort on North Korea. Look at the effort on securing ports and other homeland security measures -- look at all of these things and you will see a country bamboozled by its own Government into thinking that taking out Saddam Hussein was the thing we really needed to do to make this country secure. It is nothing short of pathetic, dishonest and irresponsible.
