NEJM editorial on MRK/Vioxx an early release was sent to me today..it's a PDF file..therefore , I can't post it(unless someone here knows how to do it) A second editorial by a physician who discloses having received research funding and other compensation from MRK was a bit more gentle, placed more responsibility with the FDA.. They will need serious analgesia after this one.. I can email it to anyone interested.. Zeta [my editorial: where were these outspoken critics before this came out?..Topol, with his stature/esteem could have gotten air-time..reminds me of presidential political behavior this year]
