HOW do you think he got away with "I don't remember" under deposition, or, during one of his speeches, he went off on a tangent to the Moon and did not return to the original subject? Many folk noted the event (the Web was not yet here, so we could not easily connect to others with similar views), yet the NYT nor LAT nor any other bought media even gave it passing attention. ergo, it did not happen. Reagan was a basket case before his second term. Compare this to the Bush Pretzel Phenomena. Has he been kept so heavily medicated since that time to prevent a recurrence of that event that he cannot recall the Presidential Daily Briefs wrt al Qeda?

The billions collected via IRAN CONTRA were channelled into so many politician's pockets (BOTH Dems and GOP) that THEY will never indict anybody....Bush was Drug Czar for a while too, remember?....
