"could create a progressive iraq" Did not say would.

I have been watching the news with the attack on the two hotels with rockets and listening to the news folks housed there who apparently had a close call. One talked of an iraqi friend that said it was better with saddam--at least we knew what we had to do to avoid him. But not its much like israel---we never know what will blow up.
So why do these folks direct their antipathy toward the US? Not because we are superman invaders--no its the opposite-- its because we are unable to stop a few thousand iraqis and foreigners from commmitting these horrific crimes.
If we had a few thousand american terrorists here in the USA a la tim mcveigh, we wouldnt do much better here. These folks must be eliminated and we cannot do that ourselves. We need the iraqis to help point them out and they would in a heartbeat i believe but they are literally scared to death. mike
