Cheney's two strongest points were LIES. You cannot count those two points. The public has now seen it over and over, Cheney and Edwards three years ago together. They know Cheney lied. That was Cheney's strongest moment when he said he'd never met Edwards before. He lied. He also lioed about never saying Saddam was behind 9-11. He implied it strongly several times and the people know that now too.
