But you're cool with squatting on their property once they've been relieved of it, eh .... well so am i, at least the sixty to eighty per cent of me that is not of indigenous origin .... ultimately the answer is we all marry each other's sisters, and develop in-laws in common, about whom we can commiserate ... apparently an aussie has put out a work on this subject, i haven't read it but it's called Blokes And Sheds ... 'sheds' presumably representing the space blokes occupy when their application for admittance as 'Moderate' has been rejected -g-

Spreading decision-making to a wider base has been the natural progression of the species ... is that arguable? .... from the strong-man chief to the council of injuns, in tribal affairs, then inter-tribal parliaments deciding for confederations, this is how we ended up with nations that more or less seem to work for us ....

So you'd think that the gene for effective diplomacy would be becoming more dominant [pun alert] .... but then you look at figures around whom large slices of certain populations rally, say for instance some dude playing a strong-man role and saying Yer with us or yer agin us, and you got to wonder .... which wonder is where your "thinking out loud" ramblings are headed, right? -g- ... cheers
