Tommy Franks new book, read it. He writes he has no patience with anyone who questions a warrior's record. He admits if someone attacked his combat record he'd be unable to prove anything because frankly (no pun intended) he cannot remember many details from 35 years ago and no one else can either. In the fog of war and after 35 years, people forget, and the mind blocks a lot out too. Combat memories are like bad dreams you want to forget. Also, he considers it an insult to the sarmed forces than anyone would insinuate phony medals are given out. You see, if Wes Clark or Tommy franks were running against Bush, the smearvets would be lying abouit them too. Just like they did against McCain and Cleland. See the pattern? So long as Bush dodged the draft and went AWOl, the dishonest Bushies believe they have no choice but to libel and smear any true warrior opponent.
