Not because we are superman invaders--no its the opposite-- its because we are unable to stop a few thousand iraqis and foreigners from commmitting these horrific crimes.> We invaded their country and destroyed their government and then proved incapable of establishing even the most basic functions of government ourselves -- it is small wonder they blame us. But the question now is what is the scale of the oppossition to our being in Iraq? It is no longer small. It is no longer a few thousand people. It is now millions of people and we have no reason to believe that we will win any hearts and minds given our track record.
